Fathers, congratulations! Becoming a father allows you the amazing opportunity to experience an extraordinary relationship with your family, just as God demonstrates His love as a father towards you, as His child. This gift of fatherhood carries great benefits and responsibilities that are important for yourself, your family and your future. God Himself is called “Father” throughout the Bible which exemplifies the importance of the role of a father to his children. Jesus came to provide the way for you to have a relationship with your heavenly Father who is holy, merciful, gracious and full of compassion (Psalms 103:8-10,13). “ I The Lord expects you fathers, as a believer of The Lord Jesus Christ to be Holy, for I am Holy saith The Spirit of The Lord. You must be separate from the fathers of the world for I The Lord have called you to put forth your efforts to be like Me The Lord, with My likeness and displaying My great love and My character in your obedience, your thoughts, your behaviors and your deeds towards those of whom I The Lord have entrusted in your hands saith The Spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ. “(1 Peter 1:15-16)

A Father’s Prayer: Almighty God, Father of all fathers, thank you for entrusting me with my family. I repent for sinful ways, deeds or actions that are out of alignment with Your will; please forgive me. Thank You for Your Son Jesus who made it possible for me to live a resurrected life and for Your precious Holy Spirit to guide me as a father. Teach me how to embrace fatherhood gracefully, in love. By faith, I trust that my relationship with You will be what You would have it to be so that You get the glory in my life as a father in Jesus Mighty Name amen.
